At the start of the month I started a photo challenge. 31 photos in 31 days, here is a recap on the challenge and what i posted.
It is the end of December and the start of a new year. This year seems to have flown by, and December has definitely gone in a flash. If you have been following this blog and my Instagram you may have seen that I set myself a photo challenge. # DecemberPhotoChallenge and #Aimsmas🎄 were the hashtags I used for each photo (alongside others).
I thought it would be nice to recap the photo challenge in this blog post, and pop all the photos in one place.
Week 1 Recap:
December 1st to December 7th. On one of the days, I posted twice, as I liked both photos of the Christmas tree that I took.
- Day 1- Red
- Day 2 – Candles
- Day 3 – Shopping
- Day 4 – Christmas Tree
- Day 5 – City Lights
- Day 6 – Star
- Day 7 – Christmas Cards
Week 2 Recap:
December 8th until December 14th. This one I posted just one photo for each day. For the ‘Weather’ photo I was hoping we would have had some Christmas snow, but alas the weather did not play along.
- Day 8 – Cosy & warm
- Day 9 – Christmas flowers
- Day 10 – Ribbons & Bows
- Day 11 – Weather
- Day 12 – Christmas Decorations
- Day 13 – Baking
- Day 14 – Christmas Lights
Week 3 Recap:
December 15th until December 21st. It was getting closer to Christmas in this week, which meant most of the photos had taken on more of a Christmas theme. I posted two photos of the ‘Christmas jumper’ theme.

- Day 17 – Favourite Christmas Quote
- Day 18 – Christmas Jumper
- Day 19 – Christmas Book

Week 4 Recap:
December 22nd until December 28th. This week covered the lead up and over the Christmas period. Again, I posted two photos for the ‘Outfit’ shots, simply because I loved the skirts I wore over Christmas.

Week 5 Recap:
December 29th until December 23rd. Not really a full week, but the three remaining days of December. I couldn’t choose just one memory for the years, so ended up choosing six! These were from all the wonderful places I have been able to travel to over the past year.

- Day 30 – Favourite Memory of the Year
- Day 31 – Sparkle
So there is the recap of my December Photo Challenge. I really enjoyed completing this, as it totally gave me focus on what to post on Instagram. Some of the photos I did have to plan and take in advance, but again I really enjoyed setting up various compositions for the photos.

Aww, thank you! I really enjoyed taking them. It certainly makes posting on Instagram easier when it is all planned out / have a theme to follow, I don’t know what to post now

I find photo challenges so fun but really hard!! I always look up to people who actually manage to complete it. One goal of mine is to being able to actually finish a whole photo challenge!

I don’t know how I managed to complete it! I think the hardest part was the days after Christmas, as the hype of Christmas sort of dies doesn’t it?! Now I have to have a good think about what to post next!

I absolutely LOVED following your 30 day photo challenge on Instagram! I really loved how creative you got with each task! My favs were the Christmas jumper one and the one where you showed off your Christmas outfits, as it was nice seeing a bit of you!

There are so many if you look on Pinterest. I adapted mine to what I thought I would be able to take. I loved completing it, would highly recommend doing one!
