This past week I was lucky enough to be invited to eShores travel event in Leeds. A travel company who specialises in luxury tailor-made and multi-centre holidays. Here’s how the event went and a low-down on their American multi-centre holidays to San Francisco, L.A, and Las Vegas.
*Before I start, this post has followed a press invite to the eShores travel event. In return for the invite, I am writing this blog post. Whilst all views expressed are my own, this post is classed as an Ad. You can see more on this over on my disclaimer page.*
The eShores travel event was held in Leeds, in Lambert’s Yard, which was the perfect venue for this event. Think loft vibes, and totally customisable to your event. The eShores event evening was split into three destinations; San Francisco, L.A and Las Vegas. So, for this post I will split how the night went into the three destinations, telling you a bit about each. But first…
Who are eShores?

eShores Travel Event – San Francisco:
So, the evening started with cocktails and introductions. A really great way to mingle with other like-minded bloggers and the staff from e-shores. For the San Francisco theme, there were four different cocktails on offer, inspired by San Fran. The cocktails were made by Anthony from Mix & Twist, and were very delicious:
- Wall Banger – Vodka, Mango & Pineapple Juice, Mint & Galliano
- San Francisco – Vodka, Cherry Brandy, Lime & Sugar
- Pornstar Martini – Vanilla Vodka, Lemon, Pineapple Juice & Passionfruit syrup
- Californian Ginjito – gin, Mint, Apple Juice, Lime, Sugar & Soda
I opted for the Wall Banger and San Francisco. Both were delicious and the perfect introduction to the evening.
Now, I have never been to the USA, but San Francisco is definitely on my list of places I would love to visit. There is so much to see and do, from exploring the steep streets and waterside to visiting Alcatraz. Also, you can cycle the Golden Gate Bridge, ride the cable car and go whale watching. A destination packed full of different things to see and do!
eShores Travel Event – L.A
After the cocktails, we headed upstairs to the dining area. The tables were beautifully decorated and definitely gave off a lux vibe. I think this was more for the Vegas theme (more on that later). This part of the night was the three-course meal, provided by Bears Pantry. All of the food was inspired by Los Angeles restaurants and was delicious! Each course was also accompanied by an American wine to fit the dish. Each course also catered for all dietary requirements, including gluten-free and vegan options. I had the standard menu which you can see below:
This is a dish that I would not automatically order from the menu. Hawaiin Tuna Poke, a dish of tuna fillet, macadamia and sushi rice, with cucumber at the bottom. This dish was surprisingly tasty and totally fits in with the L.A vibe.
The main meal was another great choice, and also yummy. The Abigaile Fried Chicken Sandwich. This dish consists of fried chicken on a maple syrup sage biscuit with a green salad and Julienne potatoes. No bread included in this sandwich! The biscuit was basically like a flat scone and went surprisingly well with the dish.
The dessert was simple but totally yummy. Vegas Greek Yoghurt Martini is the apt name for this dish, consisting of Greek yoghurt, raspberry and pomegranate. Delicious and the perfect end to the meal. Not forgetting, a very nice and sweet dessert wine (Moscato) was served alongside the dish.
As this part of the night was Los Angeles theme, eShores recommend a plethora of things to see and do. Why not visit the glitz and glam of Hollywood, shopping on Rodeo Drive and visiting Griffith Observatory, which offers spectacular views of most parts of L.A. Not forgetting, to visit the beaches and Disneyland. So much to see and explore!
eShores Travel Event – Las Vegas:
A running theme throughout the night, from the decorations and entertainment. The entertainment provided from the very talented magician Sebastian Walton. He has previously performed in the US and has been mentored by various Las Vegas acts. I think this part of the night was the highlight for me, I mean who doesn’t love a bit of magic? From card tricks to disappearing and reappearing items, as well as a bit of mind-reading. This added something to the night and totally goes in with the vegas theme.
Las Vegas has it all really doesn’t it? eShores’ top picks include seeing the Cirque du Soleil, experiencing the Grand Canyon via helicopter and catching a hotel show. Vegas is famous for its grand hotels, so why not try exploring them all, from the various themes to the fine dining that they offer. There is also downtown Las Vegas, which is a true nostalgic blast from the past.
Has this pricked your interest in visiting three big cities in America? You can a multi-centre trip through e-shores, who will be able to guide you on your trip. As I mentioned at the start of the post, eShores have been kind enough to offer a £100 discount on a trip booked through them. All you have to do is quote “USA/LeedsEvent” when booking. How good is that?
