A few weeks ago, I had the chance to stay in a wonderful luxury high-end
We booked this one night stay for a girls weekend with myself, my mum and sister-in-law. We wanted to treat ourselves, and was originally looking for some sort of spa break, but do you know how hard it is to get a decent 3 person spa to stay? So, we headed to booking.com* where we found an amazing house that we could rent for the night. We just had to book it and below is the reasons why!

Where is the High-End Beachside House?
The house is on the beachside of the seaside town called Cleveleys, also known as Thornton Cleveleys, and on the Fylde Coast of Lancashire. To the South of Cleveleys is Blackpool and to the north is Fleetwood, with a great tram service linking each place. There is a beautiful seafront area, that has apparently just had a £17 million renovation, which you can see from the house’s many windows and balcony.

Entrance and Ground Floor:
From the very first look at the house, you know that it is going to be something special! Outside is a lovely paved and gravel area with flagstone stepping stones leading you to the front door. There is also adequate parking for at least two cars in front of the garage doors just to the side of the property. Various plants adorn the garden which adds to the beach theme of the property and town.

Entering the front door of the high-end beachside house, the lobby area greets you. Two beautiful chairs in front of the large windows overlooking the garden and the promenade are just wonderfully placed. Our host was waiting for our arrival and immediately made us feel welcome. She began a tour of this marvellous property by showing us the ground floor area.

Our host informed us that an enclosed cupboard in the lobby area was the place we could store our luggage if needed. This came in really handed when we were checking out the next day, as we could just grab our bags from the cupboard and load up the car.
As you turn the corner in the lobby, you can see the cinema room directly in front of you. This is one special room! A large projector and screen was set up and showing a tv channel. Our host informed that we could watch tv, Netflix or a DVD on this, with the details being provided in a lovely picture frame. A daybed is also in the cinema room, with a pull out mattress underneath, so this doubles up as an extra sleep space too.
The best bit of this room was the lighting system. There are various settings to have mood lighting, making it super dark to watch a film (and make it feel like a cinema) and even a starry night ceiling! To control the lights, you can use the traditional way of light switches, or by the use of an Ipad. How fancy!

Next on the ground floor was a downstairs bathroom, equipped with a walk-in shower. We were told by the host that the toilet was just newly installed that morning, as the previous guests had somehow broken it.

The First Floor:
The host continued with the high-end beachside house tour, with the shag pile carpet stairs leading up to the first floor. The carpet continues from the stairs into the very large lounge area. Here there is floor to ceiling windows with lovely voile curtains covering them. Beyond the curtains the real first glances of the sea are evident.
The room has a large TV, with two very comfortable sofas; cushions adding a bit of decoration to them. Our host briefed us on further fancy lighting, with colour spotlights hidden around the edges of the room under the carpet. Light switches controlled these lights, and we definitely had a bit of a play with these when the night sky rolled in.

The pièce de résistance of the lounge room though was the massage chair. This chair gave a really nice massage and you can alter the settings to suit your need. It did feel a bit weird when it massaged your feet and legs, feeling a bit like a blood pressure machine, but you are left feeling relaxed.

With the space being open planned, to the left of the stairway, there is the kitchen diner. The dining table and chairs are what greets you first, and is beautifully decorated with table mats and a centrepiece. I think the table can fit around eight people around.

Then there is the wonderful kitchen. Full of mod cons and lots of cabinet space! I want this kitchen, especially as it has a large island counter in the middle. We did not use much of the kitchen area, but if we stay here again I know I will be trying out a bit of cooking.

The Second Floor:
There were still two more floors to explore, so onwards we went with our host. The next floor to the high-end beachside house was the bedroom floor. I’m classing this as the second floor but it was the third level of rooms to the house. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on this level so let’s start with the bathroom, which is directly in front of the stairs.
The bathroom is large (so much more than our tiny one at home), with a very large walk-in shower. This shower was brilliant and has lots of settings where the water will jet out from. Having them all on at once does have an impact on the water pressure though!

The bedroom on the left is very spacious too, with a double bed in the centre. There is also a single size futon in the corner for guests to sleep on. Behind the double bed and unit, there is a well-sized dressing area. Here there is a built-in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space, perfect for longer trips or even if you live there. The colour scheme is a lovely purple and really gives the room a relaxed feel to it. Across the far wall is a

The bedroom on the right was another spacious room with a double bed in the centre. A double futon and single futon are also available in this room, which increases the number of guests that can stay. A lovely deep blue colour decorates the room, with a pop of yellow for added colour. This room had a luxurious but cosy feel to it.

The Third and Final Floor
Now we are onto the third and final floor of the high-end beachside house. I must say this is one of the best floors of the entire house, I loved it up here. Again, the shag pile carpet follows you up the stairs and into part of the room, with a lovely dark wood covering the rest.
On one side of the room, there

The other side of the room has a wonderful leather sofa unit to relax on, as well as a bar area. There are also cocktail making facilities and a small drinks fridge in the bar area. Dark and sophisticated in colour, it is definitely something I would love to have in my home.

Going through onto the second balcony was the much awaited and anticipated hot tub. That’s right, there is a hot tub in the property! Frosted glass is around this balcony for perfect privacy when using the hot tub. There are various settings, as well as more coloured lights in the hot tub, and it is no reason why we were in here for about three hours!

Again, in this upstairs area is more fancy lighting, including multi-coloured options. We sat in the hot tub waiting for the sunset, which did not disappoint. When night hit, it was time to play with the lights, and we chose to have the coloured lights on, with the others down low. It was the perfect atmosphere and setting.

Added Extras :
Our host was lovely and was keen for us to have the best experience in their beautiful home. A bonus to the stay was the gift hamper that was left in the kitchen area. There were an abundance of sweet treats, and even a bottle of pink fizz in the fridge. All towels and bedding are included, so there is no need for you to bring your own. The cupboards in the kitchen also come with drink making supplies, such as tea and coffee. Perfect added extras to make a wonderful stay even more wonderful.

We brought our own beauty products to create our own spa, including a bubble face mask, collagen eye masks and foot moisturising socks. It was the perfect location for having a bit of pampering!

So, there you have my overview of the wonderful high-end beachside house. It was a brilliant one night stay and one I would gladly do again. You have to love a bit of luxury!

Okay, this entire place is obviously amazing. BUT LOOK AT THAT KITCHEN. That’s an actual dream. My insides are screaming with jealousy right now. I couldn’t stay here one night, I’d have to move in. What a lovely place to stay! x

I know right? I loved the kitchen, and would love to do some cooking and baking in there. Although it looks so clean, it would be a shame to mess it up! haha!
I hope I can stay again one day, it was amazing!!

How much was it?
It was £264 for the night. I think the price varies though depending on how many nights. I also think the price might differ from booking.com and Airbnb.
